FAQ

Children and families of all shapes, sizes, composition, are always welcome at our events. We always build into our events a way for children to be fully engaged and a welcome part of the event energy.  Children under 12 are always welcome for free admission to our shows.

Open Sky Farm provides opportunities for children to create art, learn creative skills, drum, sing, dance, and participate fully as part of the festival community.  Children are always expected to be supervised by the adults that they are with.  We do not provide childcare.

Please note welcoming children in the festival community does not mean that everything that goes on at our events is appropriate for all children. We expect this kind of decision to be made by responsible adults.  We fully expect adults to be responsible when making decisions.  

We honor children as part of our temporary community and we have our own children that we always want as part of our celebrations. We will work with providers to make their time here interesting, lively, and fun!
